Acclaimed singer-songwriter Brian Collins returns with his highly anticipated new single, “Girl Like You,” available now on all major streaming platforms. The heartfelt track delves deep into Collins’ personal journey through loneliness, longing, and the transformative power of finding true love.

Brian says, “‘Girl Like You’ reflects my journey through loneliness, searching for that one person who feels like they could hang the moon for me,”. He goes on to say, “It’s about the profound connection that makes you feel complete, even if the wait takes years. When I finally met her, it felt as if we had known each other forever. This song captures that natural instinct to love and cherish someone who changes everything. In a world where one is never enough, I found my perfect puzzle piece—and I would do anything for her.”

Anchored by Collins’ signature warmth and authenticity, “Girl Like You” blends soulful melodies with roots-driven instrumentation. The song features contributions from a powerhouse lineup of musicians, including Clay Cook (Zac Brown Band) on B3 Organ and Kevin Scott (Gov’t Mule) on bass. The organic soundscape is rounded out by Jason Christian on guitar, Chris Hunt on drums and co-production, and Vanessa Olivarez on backing vocals.

The single was produced and engineered by Brian Collins at Blue Light Studio in Douglasville, GA, mixed by John Davis at The Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, NY, and mastered by Collins at Real to Reel Studios in Jonesboro, GA

“Girl Like You” captures the soul of southern storytelling, showcasing Collins’ ability to weave raw emotion and timeless musicianship into a sound that’s both familiar and fresh. This is the second single from Brian's forthcoming full-length album (more details to come soon with further singles!)
